Labyrinth Etiquette

It is nice to pause at the entrance of the labyrinth to quiet the mind and acknowledge the start of the walk.

If others are on the labyrinth, it is nice to allow those in front of you the opportunity to get beyond the first turn before you enter. This helps avoid bunching up and crowding.

People walk at different rates and it is perfectly OK to pass someone on the labyrinth. It is also OK to stop or step aside if you are walking slower than others to allow them to pass. The same applies when you are on the way out as others are on the way in.

Use your own judgment to determine when and if it is appropriate to interact with others on the labyrinth.

If you are walking on a carpeted or canvas labyrinth, it is nice to remove your shoes to help reduce wear and tear on the material.
